The Pearl of the Sea
Mutiara Laut, which means ‘Pearl of the Sea,’ skips along the water with all the grace of the 18th-century North Atlantic schooners that inspired her design. She was built in Kalimantan (Borneo) under the guidance of her owner, a former maritime captain, to ensure the highest level of safety and comfort.
The 47-metre yacht houses seven ensuite cabins; four double rooms, two twins and a VIP suite. A king-size bed, large windows, writing desk, seating area, library and walk-in wardrobe are a few of the distinguishing features of the yacht’s premium cabin. Neutral tones meet old-world charm in Mutiara Laut’s 36 sqm saloon. The lounge is peppered with Indonesian handicrafts, indigenous art, and hand-woven island textiles, while the centrepiece of the intimate dining room is a intricately-carved wooden table with room for 14 guests.
Outside, there’s 60 sqm of deck space dedicated to leisure. As well as a sunbathing terrace, there’s an alfresco dining area and a barbecue space where the crew can flame-grill the day’s catch. A duo of chefs man Mutiara Laut’s spacious galley, serving up five-star food influenced by Singaporean, Thai and Indonesian cuisines.
Mutiara Laut is available for both week-long charters and special event bookings. The main deck comes with all the necessary accessories for meetings, presentations and events and the yacht can accommodate up to 25 guests for weddings, day trips, conferences and sunset cruises.
