Kudanil Explorer

Venturing to Indonesia’s Hard-to-reach Destinations

A former offshore rig support vessel, Kudanil Explorer is one of the safest expedition yachts sailing Indonesian waters today. As an ex safety standby vessel, she can venture out to remote locations that Phinisi sailing yachts simply cannot reach.

Launched in 2018, the 50-metre luxury motor yacht features eight air-conditioned boutique berths, each with an ensuite bathroom and overwater terrace. Suites are dressed with Balinese ikat fabrics, hand-carved wooden panels, and Javanese wayang (shadow puppets) while balconies feature a daybed, chairs and coffee table overlooking the sea. All accommodations benefit from Wi-Fi connection and entertainment stations.

Additional facilities include an open-air Jacuzzi, vast library, Java spa, a sundeck with banquette seating and reclining loungers, a diving and watersports platform with changing rooms, two bars and two restaurants. The indoor restaurant can be transformed into a private cinema with surround sound, while the outdoor dining area features sea views and a modern tropical design. Kundanil’s crew of 21 includes Chef Adi, who puts together creative à la carte plates, fusing Western and Asian culinary techniques.
